My Galaxy S3 won't connect to wi fi

next day the ssid had a white dimond with a ? inserted in the gap between the 2 words that are my ssid.

Have you tried an SSID composed of just one word?

I installed an app wifi connection manager. That fixed the issue

wow I had to register to answer this.. I got home from Mexico.live in Canada and could not connect my phone to the Wifi at home.. I re did my password in my wifi at home and it works now.. just in case this helps anyone..thanks for the help and suggestions on here.

Blimey.....what a palava to answer in a thread

I was just going to download the wifi connection app as suggested by someone above me, so I went to play store and it said my download manager was disabled and did I want to re-enable it?
I said yes, and then it said I would have to restart my phone.............which I did.
Low and behold..............when my phone restarted my wifi connected?..............how very strange?

So here's the problem I got to settimgs, wifi and go to my router. It says wps available but doesn't show the drop box for it, I've connected my tablet and laptop to it so I know wps works. I've tried all ur steps and nothing works plz halp
