My headphone jack on Galaxy S8 doesn't work.

It's strange, first when I got the phone it worked , then after 2 weeks when I tried it didin't worked anymore. but it works if I use aboutsound. I think the sensor its broke.. gonna go with him to see what its wrong in 2 3 weeks.
Do you guys have this problem ?

If SoundAbout, did the problem begin before or after you installed SoundAbout? If after, then it may be simply because SoundAbout has taken control of your sound inputs and outputs. Upon cursory examination, it appears that is what the app is designed to do...

It started before finding what soundabout does.
but right now I conect them without soundabout and it works but I don't have this sign on my phone:

But from what I see on youtube s8 doesn't have that icon up when you plug the headphones..

I don't know if this applies to Samsung phones, but on recent Nexus and Pixel phones, enable the System UI Tuner then go to Settings -> System -> System UI Tuner -> Status Bar and enable the headset icon.

To enable System UI Tuner, pull down the status bar and long press the gear settings icon for 5 seconds or so. When you let go you will see a notification that System UI Tuner has been enabled.

Just tested my S8+ with headphones and I don't have that icon but everything works.
