My headphone socket intermittent issues? Does your do the same behaviour?

So a bit of an odd one. I'm typing and listening to music mainly through google play or Spotify. Plus i mainly shove my phone in pocket before I do this i lock my screen. Shortly after I do this even though the headphones are connected and locked it. My music pauses and stops playing through my headphones.

Tested with two working earphones plus in phone shops to see if I wasn't going mad.

Just sent a pair of bose ones back Because I thought they were faulty. Only seems to happen when I put it in my pocket?

Any ideas why it's doing it. Just spoke to Google support who is sending me somethings to try. Was just thinking could be a sensor somewhere disabling. When in a dark pocket?

I listen to music similar to you. Headphones plugged in, phone in pocket.

No issues. I haven't seen anything else out there on this issue either. Hope google gets this resolved, replaced!

Put it down to Spotify. Got Google to help support is excellent if anyone was wondering. They also let you have a replacement new phone immediately as they don't want to see you without one. Nice little thing.
