MY HTC 828 phone got overheat and dead now, what is the problem

MY HTC 828 phone got overheat and switched off in between while i was using wtsup. its happens with other apps too earlier but its get ON but this time it is not getting ON and if i m putting for charging its not changed even that power light also not visible. its completely dead now. what action need to take ,

Welcome to the forums. If the overheating was severe enough, there may be damage at the board level. You can try taking it to a repair shop, but it also may be just as cost effective to get a new phone.

Try plugging the charger in and leaving it for about 4 hours (checking it for overheating constantly). The battery could be bad or, as Golfdriver said, the motherboard could have gotten damaged.

A repair is going to cost more than the phone is worth, though. Even a battery replacement will.
