My Moto E (4) has lost the sound

My Moto E (4) has arbitrarily stopped making sounds. The phone has stopped ringing, it won't play music/videos through the speaker, however, I can people that I'm taking to on the phone just fine. What's the problem?

Try toggling Bluetooth on and off, also try shutting the phone down, then rebooting it.
