My Note 4 won't connect/pair with my bluetooth headset.

Holding down the power button during the pairing process worked for me as well.

At first, I was just turning the bluetooth device on and immediately releasing the button. As others have said, my Note 4 couldn't find the device - not even with several tries and holding the device right next to the phone. After reading this tip though, I tried to pair them again. I held the button down during the process this time, and the phone had no problem finding the device. Yay!

I figured it out - I'm not certain if you have to clear all paired devices first; however, if you hold down the multi-function (on/off) button for about 10 seconds or longer, the voice notification will say, "pairing" and the button LED will flicker; this process then paired with my Samsung Note 4! Good luck.

grossejager you are genius! This method also works with sony SBH24 and Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite - happy that I did not throw away almost new headset
