My Only Hesitation is Battery Life

Or better, yet wait until real owners start posting real battery life results in the V20 forums. This phone will not compete with the moto z play battery-wize, but no one expects it to. Realistically, if it makes it through an entire day of normal usage, its a win.

I loved my v10 until the update. Then I was swapping batteries 3 times a day and I was not using battery consuming apps. I even used a bookmark for Facebook instead of the battery hog FB app

Frankly, I would take a 30% hit on battery life if a replaceable battery. Sealed batteries in the event of a problem leave you with no options besides replacing the phone. My Note 4 as example is a fantastic backup called back into action due to Marshmallow update and the ability to put a new battery in it after two years. Win IMO.

Will gladly use my Note 4 and see what you all think of the V20 First need to wait a few weeks though until the new device pixie dust wears off of the V20 feedback

Yeah he did ,but I don't play games on my phone anymore. Not a concern for me.

How much does an extra battery cost approximately anyway? I think I'm gonna buy one right off the bat. The Note 5 left me scarred and the Note 7 spoiled me. So no more looking for an outlet for me. I need an extra pack for the day.

Right now battery + cradle is $60 on Amazon. I think I saw it for $50 on eBay.

It's fulfilled by Amazon so I'd say it's pretty safe. Protected by Amazon if by some chance there's an issue.

No way I know of to id a counterfeit. They're really good at it. Is Amazon the dealer or is it a private dealer fulfilled by Amazon? Big dif ime. I would only buy spare batteries from LG.

Fulfilled by Amazon. The seller has 4.9 stars, over 99% positive feedback with over 1100 ratings. I'd say pretty safe.

I won't be buying just yet because I think the price is to high. I'll wait for it to drop.

FWIW, gsmarena pegs the battery life "endurance rating" for the V20 at 63 hours vs 87 hours for the S7 Edge.

Yeah, no real surprise though. The Edge has a smaller screen and a larger battery.

It may had been. Of course, no one has final production of phone yet. Guess we'll know next week.
