My S Pen is too sensitive after tablet being fixed... how to calibrate?

Hi,
I recently spilled coffee on the tablet and had it fixed. Everything seems to work great and none of my things were erased, but I noticed that the pen became much more sensitive.

I use the handwriting feature quite a lot for taking notes, and now when I lift the pen up (after every letter/word), it continue to write for another second or two. This makes everything cursive and illegible. Here is an example: https://ibb.co/SvL1dr0

Is there anything I can do to decrease the sensitivity of the pen?
Thanks!

Not from a software standpoint. You'd have to take it to the repair shop as this is either a panel distance issue (the Wacom digitizer responsible for S-Pen input) or power adjustment (hardware).

You can also try to adjust the S-Pen potentiometer (again, this is hardware).

Just curious about this because of an issue I mentioned in this subforum last week. Is it possible to take apart the S-Pen to get the remains of a broken rigid nib out if the pen? I'm OK with a temporary ghetto kludge since I'm anyway buying a new S-Pen soon. I'm really missing the S-Pen...
