Welcome to Android Central! What's the exact model number of your Note5, and which carrier in India are you using? Are you certain your phone supports the bands that the Indian carrier uses?

What other options do you have for Preferred Network Type? Does it only allow you to select GSM?

Welcome to Android Central! From what I can find, Reliance Jio uses the 2300 MHz LTE band for the entire country, the 800 MHz band in 10 circles, and the 1800 MHz band in 6 circles. Of the bands your Note5 variant supports, the only overlap is with the 800 MHz and 1800 MHz bands, so unless you're in one of those 10 circles for 800 MHz or 6 circles for 1800 MHz, you won't get 4G LTE. I can't figure out which circles use which bands, so that's something you should ask Reliance Jio yourself.
