My Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 says connected to internet but no apps get connection, what could be wrong?

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 says connected to internet but no apps get connection

My device says connected but it does not work. I have tried restarting, making it factory new, switching internet to static, nothing is working please help! Oh now I'm locked out of my google account because it can't log in D:

It says connected to the internet, or connected to your wifi signal? They're not the same thing.

Is your router connected to the internet (you have to connect to it to see - if it's not, nothing connected to the router can connect to the internet)?

Are you running Android 4.4.2 or later, and running TKIP or TKIP+AES on the router for wifi encryption (that probably won't work)?

Thanks for the comment, It says I have a WiFi signal and it is not my router because my laptop and lg optimus f3 that I use the internet totally fine.

I'm probably too late but it could be your date and time settings, make sure their correct. And the time zone is correct.
