my screen is black

hello can anybody help me my screen is black i can hear the sounds and phone calls but cannot do any thing the screen is black i got at&t galaxy s3

Try booting to recovery and wiping cache.

To do so, turn off your phone, and hold volume up+ home+Power, until you see the Samsung boot screen then let go.

When it comes up, scroll down to wipe cache using the volume keys and press the power button. When it wipes reboot the phone.
