My SD card wont read

Hello. I just purchased an ONN tablet by Android at walmart. I went to put my SD card in so I can watch videos that I saved on it and the tablet wouldn't even register that an SD card was inserted. No notifications for errors, corrupt files, nothing. Nothing in my file management folder or settings either. I have now tried several different SD cards with different brands and storage amounts and still nothing. I know I put it in correctly, so I don't know what else to do. What can you do if you inserted an SD card and the tablet is acting like you didnt?

Welcome to Android Central! The SD reader might be faulty. Can those cards be read in other devices? If so, bring the tablet back to the store and ask for an exchange or refund.
