My SD card won't work after factory reset?

I updated the OS on my droid moto Z. Did a factory reset. I had my SD card formatted to act as an internal drive. Now it shows that it is in there but saying it's unsupported. I have tried but it's not taking.

Sounds like your moto doesn't play well with trying to use removable memory as internal.

You have to reformat it - the encryption changed. (Yes, you'll lose everything that was on it, and there's probably no way to recover it, since it was encrypted - that's just one of the reasons you shouldn't use an SD card as adoptable storage.)
