My Tab S 8.4 suddenly deletes files on sd card

So i have my tab s running on android 5.0.2 and i am wondering if i am the only one who gets this issue as everytime i transfer an app to my sd card or downloading media files it gets deleted an any time and mostly when i quick restart mu device or manually restart it. I just refunded it and thinking if i should buy it again or i will get a Z3 TC instead sonce my main purpose of use is only media. Also i have tried multiple sd cards but it seems that the tablet is the main problem. Pls reply thanks!!

Welcome to Android Central! Did you get all of the SD cards from the same place? If so, it's possible (though not highly likely) that all of them are counterfeit, which can cause this kind of problem. Do those cards work well in other devices?

The Sd card was totally not fake as i got it on currys pc world for £16 32gb and it works perfectly fine on my other devices except for my tab S. I actually refunded it and thinking that if i am not the only one who gets this then i will get a z3 tablet compact instead of rebuying a tab s 8.4

Samsung has historically had issues with various devices when it comes to SD cards, but recently it seems like they had sorted that out. It may be that you have a defective unit.
