My Galaxy tab E stopped connecting to Wi-Fi with the exception of Data. When I sent in my tablet to Samsung they said that my year long warranty from September 2016 ended and refused to repair it unless I payed $250 which is how much the tablet costs brand new.

Welcome to Android Central! Do you still have the tablet, or is it still at the service center? What do you mean it stopped connecting to wi-fi with the exception of data? Is this an LTE-enabled tablet, and you were still able to connect via mobile data?
