My WhiteStone Dome is here!!!

Best screen protector ever!

I actually messed up the install the first time because of some dust that I didn't see, but all I had to do was rinse the protector with water, wipe it down and start over. Second time was a charm.

Thank goodness they included a second bottle of adhesive solution!

It works with my Kate Spade case and I can't eve tell it's there.

I'm disappointed that it's not compatible with the Ringke Fusion case. I was really looking forward to that combination.

Now I'm trying to hold off on installing it until I can try my i-Blasion/Supcase Unicorn Beetle Pro case with the built-in screen protector. It should be here Monday or Tuesday.

Can anyone suggest a similar case to the Ringke Fusion that will work with the Whitestone Dome Protector?

If you really wanted it to work you could just file down the edges of the case

I have the Spigen Liquid Air Armor case which technically isn't supposed to be compatible but it's rock solid 24 hours in...

It's right up against it at some spots but it's holding just fine. Though I will must likely file down the edges just in case.

But man oh man does this screen protector feel awesome it is so smooth to Glide your finger across and I finally feel like I can start using my phone and stop babying it!

I installed mine earlier today. I love it on the Note8! It's barely noticeable when carrying the device without a case. I had to modify the Ringke Fusion, but it looks like it is working fine so far.

The only down side to this screen protector that I have found, is that it seems to easily collect dust and pocket lint/dirt around the edges. I let my UV light shine on the screen until the light turned off, and I did it in 2 rounds as the installation instructions suggest. I just let it sit longer than they say.

Overall, I am happy I found and got this screen protector.

I'm not sure if it was in this thread or on the comments on YouTube but someone said for the lint that collects on the side they actually use a Black Sharpie to not only remove the dust and debris but also color it black so it Blends in
Has anyone done a torture test video for the Whitestone?
Yes there's one on YouTube... It held up pretty good against scratches and keys and stuff but it broke on the first drop but that's not unexpected

Great idea!!

But did the screen beneath it survive.....I'll have to go look and see if I can find the video.

Also to buy the WhiteStone Dome - I preordered mine here: Whitestone Dome Glass Galaxy Note 8 Full Cover Screen Protector

I got mine and installed it last night and the part that drove / still driving me nuts is the adhesive around the edges. I wiped the phone in between UV light curing and it still oozed from the edges, this morning I wiped the phone and the adhesive kind of crusted and rolled like that adhesive on credit cards that come in the mail. It started picking up dust right away in spots as well. I like how it looks, aside from the adhesive overflow.

Like I mentioned before maybe try with someone else suggested and run along the edges with a sharpie or some other black marker

Just installed mine. Completely f%@+ed up the first time. Had to completely clean the stuff off, wash the glass protector and redo. As a consequence got some lint at the bottom, but good enough.

Looks great. If I wasn't such a klutz, I'd be pumped. I'm worried it won't last long because the adhesive doesn't seem good at the edges. If it doesn't work well, I'm going without a screen protector. I'm just horrible at putting these things on.

This is the best protector and application process I've ever seen. Any disappointment is from my own error.

Thanks. Others will appreciate if. It still won't develop the dexterity. I can't even put on the simplest plastic screen protectors.

I found it a lot easier to put it than regular screen protectors. The kit makes it look intimidating but trust me it is very simple. And by the way Geeksquad at bestbuy will put it for you for $8, which is a waste of money considering how easy it is to do it yourself

It has become moot for me. Sammy screwed up my order with the help if Bank of America so I canceled. B of A kept detecting Sammy as fraud because more than 4 days between hold and charge. Each time B of A would actually shut off my cc and I had to call them to turn it back on. Then Sammy refused to try to recharge so I give up. Not starting from scratch again. Having had a chance to play with the N8 at Best Buy I've decided it is too tall for me to use comfortably so I'm out. Good luck folks!
