N4 has shut down 3 times today

Totally stock Nexus 4 no new apps added in months. Yesterday updated Mapquest. Today the phone shut down while almost fully charged and idle, not even warm to the touch. Any ideas?

Try uninstalling the Mapquest updates, or uninstalling Mapquest altogether, and see if you get any more random shutdowns over the next few days.

You could also try booting into Recovery Mode and wiping the cache partition: http://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-5994

I did remove Mapquest as soon as I posted the problem. I will report back in a a day or two and say weather that solved the problem.

Removing Mapquest seems to have solved the problem.
