How about "Abeo"? It's latin for 'change'. Represents the unique nature of android to adjust for users needs, instead of users having to adjust to an OS' needs.

How about we name him "Dumbest F#cking Mascot Ever". Seriously is everybody snuffing glue? This is the worst logo change I've seen since the gap tossed out their historic logo for a piece of web 2.0 garbage. I mean seriously it looks like the logo for Android Central JR, the website where we go over the new line of Mattel Android Phones made of big thick plastic, shiny buttons and animal sounds! I'm going to have to look into a grease monkey script to replace the new logo with the old one as I may have to quit visiting this website and instead stick to the rss feed with images turned off.

I guess some one had to say it? While I agree with you, I also believe that Android Central is a HUGE pillar of the Android community. They may not have made the best graphic mascot (IMO) but they certainly have one of the best Android news/blogs/forums/podcasts/staff this community has to offer. I for one appreciate everything they do and will continue to support them. They could put up an Apple logo and I'd still visit the site.
