Need A Phone Now! Screw The Thunderbolt I Jut Got An IPhone!

Wow, why would you buy an iPhone 3 months before the new model is released? Especially the iPhone 4, with its ridiculous all glass design and antenna that you can't touch.

You're going to regret this big time. I've had iPhones since the original was launched, and a few weeks ago i bought the HTC Inspire. Hands down the Inspire is better in every way imaginable - bigger screen, better keyboard, better browser, better customization, more flexible, etc.

Well like the thread title says I needed the phone yesterday not 3 months from now. Im not so sure that the Verizon version will be out quite that soon anyway since it launched only 3 weeks ago and the hardware IS NOT the same, in fact some cases are NOT interchangeable between AT&T and Verizon versions. I have no antenna problems at all with my phone and I tried holding it every goofy way I could. Im very happy with this phone and the rate plan Verizon offers. Its much less expensive than what I had with my Epic.

Still, there are tons of android phones on any of the carriers that aRe out now and are better than the iPhone, and you could have gotten any of those. I am an ex-apple fanboy. I have had an iPhone since the original launch in June 2007. A few weeks ago I have up the iPhone 3GS for an htc inspire and couldn't be happier. I can't believe I stayed on the iPhone platform so long and didn't try android sooner.

I have also owned all four generations of the IPhone. However nice Android can be I have yet to hold in my hand an Android handset with the build quality and elegance of the Iphone4. Someone needs to make a high end high quality Android handset one without a cheap flimsy tupperware type of battery door and a battery that lasts more than a few hours, and switch gear that equals Apples as well.

The htc inspire has as good of a build quality if not better than all iPhones, plus the added benefits of a user replaceable battery and expandable storage. Plus the inspire isn't entirely covered in glass which makes the inspire infinitely more durable. My inspire is getting significantly better battery life than my 3GS iPhone ever did.

But to each his own.

Not at all my experence with HTC. I had FOUR Evos go bad within 6 months. I hope you have better luck with HTC than I did. I even had the whole screen fall out of one of them! Click on this link see for yourself..

**URGENT** Design Flaw / Issue (screen off-set or Un-glued) - HTC EVO™ 4G (Sprint) - Android Forums - HTC Community

All phones have their issues, and certain manufacturers have more issuesthat others. My original iPhone's screen started to come loose in the bottom left corner and would make a clicking sound when you touched it. My wife's 3G battery went to complete **** after less than a year of light usage. The iPhone 4 has the horrible death grip, and if you mistakenly drop it without a case the back is most likely going to break.

...and after you jumped to the iPhone, they announced the Thunderbolt is coming in 2 days.

So the question: were you actually interested in the Bolt in the first place? If so, are you going to return your new iPhone for the Bolt?

Maybe!

CONFORMATION!
My local Verizon store finally confirms the 17th release for the T-Bolt.
