I just tried wiping my cache partition with my Nexus 9 as the adb sideload of the OTA to the latest version for the Nexus 9 did not work (said contents did not match even though I am pure stock with root). During the cache wipe process I got an error message:
E:failed to mount /cache (Invalid Arguement)
Along with a bunch of other messages about failure involving mount and cache. I tried to reboot and the boot animation played over and over again (boot loop). I have gone back to the recovery to try wiping the cache again in hopes it will work this time. Any suggestions? Also, why would my OTA not work? I had to update adb to get it to work and finally when I pushed it through I got the unexpected contents message. Will OTA no longer work if you are rooted?
