advice for next time.
google "install rom to optimus v" and you will get results from these very forums, leading to posts and How-Tos that tell you to AVOID ROM MANAGER AT ALL COSTS
now, since you didnt avoid rom manager, and ran right into it like a brick wall. heres what you do.
go here.
https://github.com/inferiorhumanorgans/android_device_lge_thunderc/wiki/Binary
look in the optimus V section, download BACKside IHO by Jerryscript. click on the date, it will lead you to the download.
now download this.
goo-inside.me - gapps downloads
click the link that says 20110828 Universal (Link) its the blue bar thats next to Cyanogenmod 7
now put both those files on your phones microSD card.
go into recovery (GOOD NEWS) you can actually use the recovery, so you likely have an older screen OV. I think the recovery that Rom Manager installs is the one for old OVs.
in recovery, volume buttons move up and down, and the camera button is the "enter" key, the back button works as normal
go into recovery, wipe system, cache, and then go into advanced and wipe "dalvik cache" and for good measure wipe each one once more.
now choose "install zip from sd card" and select the backside rom you downloaded. once its done, do NOT click the reboot option that will be highlighted, just go back to install zip and choose the gapps file.
now when you reboot you will be in CM7.
none of your apps will be there and youll need to sign into all your accounts again, its like a fresh start. any pictures you have on the SD card will still be there though.
with what you did, there is no way to recovery any apps or accounts. you need to start over.
if you did it RIGHT, you could have backed up the entire stock rom as is if you didnt like cm7, but now your kinda screwed outta that option.
now, for the future, after you get cm7 installed. you want THIS recovery

it is similar to the one you have now, but fixed. the one you have now wont allow you to make nandroid backups, they are broken and dont restore. this recovery fixes that.
the How-To for flashing this is in the forums somewhere, just look. you have the file thats the most important part.
