The bigger question here is..Why do you long for the fastest processors and highest resolution screen when your data speeds don't allow you to process the content? You can't even watch an HD youtube video without it stopping for 5 minutes to buffer..10 bucks more your run through that video like your on a Fios connection.
I have WiFi available almost everywhere I go. At home, at work, restaurants, the shopping mall, professional offices, essentially everywhere, covering about 90% of the time. The remaining 10% of 3G coverage averages about 1.5 Mbps, way more than enough speed to stream any audio or video. I'm in Atlanta and LTE has been announced to launch on July 15th. I use an HTC EVO 4G LTE and love the speed and amazing IPS screen. I find your apparent need to bash Sprint rather amusing.
