Network issues, recurring theme?

I ended up going back to Verizon and it's been great. For me Verizon is a lot cheaper so no regrets.

all carriers have problems but with the reliability issues TMobile has it just doesn't seem like it's worth $70 for one line. on top of that they are raising the plus price for new customers so doesn't seem uncarrier anymore

Do you use them? To be honest every network does go down .. But that is why I don't get the gloating they do at each other as if each carrier hasn't had that happen :P.

I understand carriers go down, but T-mo has been going down more than verizon/att/aprint during the first deployment of LTE.

True. If it's messing with you I'd swap over to someone else till they're more stable.

I ended up leaving tmobile due to price. was more expensive and no plan alternative (even their $60 kickback ) wasn't competitive. I am spending less on att now with the work discount, plus I get full speed hotspot. TMobile had the hotspot so gimped it wasn't what I needed

for me the uncarrier became more carrier like than att or Verizon.

On top of that the text sending problem became frustrating even with full coverage a lot of my text wouldn't send for hours straight. Data was out a lot also. I had to get a gophone backup that I had to use too much so it defeated the purpose of having TMobile and paying a premium for it, no work discount, and gimped hotspot unless I wanted to pay $10 more.

I still like TMobile and want them to do well but if I got a line it would only be prepaid

Interesting that you switched do to price. After 20+ years with AT&T we finally couldn't take the price increases and limited data offerings AT&T offers. We were going to pay a LOT more for a family of 4 staying with AT&T (even with a huge company discount plan) vs. TMO. At least $60+ per month extra.

So far TMO has better perks than AT&T and of course the price has been right, and the larger buckets of data works better. We rarely if ever use hotspots and if we do on a road trip, it works perfectly well for our needs. Sure we've had a few hiccups but overall it's been a better switch than staying with AT&T.

yeah for one line it was less expensive for my uses. now if I needed unlimited and used more data TMobile would be a great choice. I tried to get on one of the older $50 plans but they said only thing available was the one plan.

down the road I don't mind reevaluating them to see what deals they may have

the network coverage was great overall but I think they had more capacity type issues in my case that should be much better down the road. I was definitely impressed with the coverage so I can't fault them for that since it just keeps getting better and better.

Looks like you are right. I should have stayed with tmobile. The att bill has prorated charges and the taxes suck. Even with a waived activation fee (due to work discount) the first bill is 130 and that's for 1 line at $60. Two days proration so I expected it to be maybe 75 max this first bill.

I'll be heading back to TMobile at the end of the current cycle. I was an ***** for leaving
