Network locks up when going between 3G and 4G

Whenever I go from a 4G area back to a 3G, or vice versa, I get an error that the network is not available. Then it takes a reboot or toggling the network off and back on. Then it works again. Anyone else having this issue. I'm in an area that just got 4G a few weeks ago.

Absolutely. I'm in Kansas City and am having the EXACT same problem. In fact, my 4G worked great the 1st two days of 4G and then started acting up after that. I tried everything from removing the battery to doing a hard reset to switching the SIM card. No luck, and I went to a couple of Verizon stores and ALL the other 4G phones worked fine.

Just when it appeared that all the bugs were out with the Gingerbread update, then this. This phone has been a disaster.
