Awesome! I'm still here debating whether or not to pull the trigger. Locked into family plan with ATT iPhone 4 until end of 2012. Is it worth switching to? I'd get an extra 3% discount from VZW over ATT. Worth selling an iPhone 4 to cover ETF?

I signed out of my Amazon account and went back and tried to buy it and it's coming up as $249 as a new customer for me as well.

Well I called amazon and spoke with someone, asked what the deal was and they couldn't tell me much but I did manage to get my order switched to one day shipping. Which kick started my order

Status now says 'Shipping Soon' with a delivery estimate of the 29th

Mine is still shipping soon with a delivery estimate still at January 5th-25th. I'm going to be very unhappy if they don't send my phone out early simply because they originally quoted the 5th-25th.

Once it says "shipping soon" it usually ships out same day or next.

The person I talked to assured me that they are shipping in relation to order time. So hopefully you won't have to wait too much longer if the website says it is back in stock again.
