You know it's funny, but not ha-ha.
Because I made a jump across many generations and incarnations of Android/Samsung, I have a vivid and unique perspective still fresh in my mind.
On KitKat moving files/folders was much easier and intuitive. Samsung Gallery/photo edit was usable and worked well.
Not so on the Note 10+
Gallery is a mess and disabled; using two 3rd party apps to take it's place.
They Samsung screwed up their vid player; no 10 seconds back replay button which I used a lot.
Needed to get Power Amp for music.
Again and again apks that were native and ran well on the S4 were rendered useless on this hotshot flagship.
This forced not only to debug and optimize this future shock hotrod but spend countless hours finding 3rd party apks to replace the missing/deficient native ones. Really?
Samsung is like a box full of rabid ferrets
Speaking of tricks I wonder if PD MDM will on Q?
That be disaster if it got disabled for me.
It's happen with other package disablers I used. Or they purposely lack the ability to block carrier updates.
This one doesn't have my favorite interface, isn't free however it is stable, and blocks updates.
So many things you don't consider or even think of until you have slammed the upgrade in... and no way to know how many fires you'll have fight. Or if you will ever get running the way you want again without rooting it.
Pretty much why I'm content with a good running stable OS that I like. Once bitten, twice shy.
There's no doubt I'm wuving the display, speed, memory, improved charging and killer gooey interface of this Note.
After over a 100+ hours of optimizing, learning, troubleshooting etc it's doing and looking mostly how I want it to.
