New Facebook + Evo + Push = fail?

Is the push notifications working for anyone with an evo? I get notifications every like 30 minutes or so, but that's not push... Anyone? Any luck? Workarounds?

Evo with Myn Rom and HTC #17 Kernel

Definitely a big old FAIL for me too. Definitely not instant push. Got the gmail reminder at 3:27, and just received the facebook notification at 5:51. On the other hand, the facebook chat feature works great, no complaints there.

Is anyone receiving push for wall posts, or comments? That I do not get.. But messages, chat notifications and friend requests work fine.

i don't get push notifications for anything but chat.... never have... no matter what I try.

No push notification here either. I have notifications turned OFF (This was the way we use to get them where it would poll every 30 minutes or whatever it was) but I don't see an option anywhere for push notification.

I dont know whats going on with you guys' phones but its working just fine on my evo... I get notified asap!

The only weird thing I've noticed since the update is after a chat session; the conversation still shows up. Even after hitting menu and deleting the conversation it shows up later...

Does the same thing in go chat too... Dont know why..

I'm not getting chat notifications either. Can you guys who's notifications are working let us know what your facebook settings are? like do you have notifications turned on and if so what is your refresh interval.

Check your setttings on the Facebook website. Under notifications, the last category should be apps on your phone. Enable notifications and see if this fixes your problem.

Facebook for Android does not show under mine.

Yeah that is there, but only shows me an option for email to be checked. The odd thing is that my gf's Optimus S shows notifications just fine, although they can be slow at times.

Also does regular Facebook show in accounts & sync for you? Mine does not let me add it. Only has Facebook for HTC Sense.
