I don't know what it's like on your phone but on my P8P I have to actively allow it. Android Central does that as well when I view an article using Chrome on my phone. I always disallow notification permissions when they pop up.Yes, there is was, turned it off, how do those things get on the phone. How do you permanently remove them?????
This kind of thing can happen without you being entirely aware of it while browsing. You may have gone to the site at some point (either on purpose or as a redirect from some other site), at which time it may have given you a dialog asking you if it's ok for the site to send you notifications. If you tapped "Yes", then it gets added to the Chrome settings (which then gets synced to your Google account and to any Chrome browser you use that's synced to your account). You can easily turn off the notification in the Chrome settings, but in order to remove it completely, I think you have to do the following:Yes, there is was, turned it off, how do those things get on the phone. How do you permanently remove them?????
