Well this is interesting. My 4G widget (the built in one - ya know, bt, wifi, gps, 4g) is no longer working. I touch it to turn 4G on, and it just keeps trying and trying and trying - but it's not coming on.

just tried and mine still works.

Something told me not to do the leaked update... smh o well. hopefully HTC can figure something out asap

Wait it out man... trust me the differences between what you currently have and what everyone else is putting on their phones is minimal. And HTC is cooking something right now for us "early-adopters." Personally, even after HTC brings out their special version for us (which will most likely put us at .6 as well), I'm waiting it out until one of the dev's at XDA get a rooted version (either for .3 or .6, its bound to happen)

I'm going to try H.264 and see if it's choppy the first pass through.

Playback on newly recorded videos is NOT choppy. So, it looks like the 'choppy' thing only happens on old/existing videos in the Gallery - and only the very first time you play them after the update. After you play them once, every other time they play fine.

YIKES!!!!!!

OK, yeah - VERY CHOPPY!! But, it seems like it's only the FIRST time you play it. The first time through, it was very choppy, every time after that it was fine. I went to another video in the Gallery - same thing - choppy the first time through, then fine after that. I went back to my first video and it played fine.

So, it looks like the first time - one time only - on any already recorded videos, it's going to be choppy.

A couple of notes. When I started my Gallery it told me No Photos / Videos found !! WTH?! It did some searching and then it found everything.. whew.

ANOTHER NEW ADDITION!! THERE IS NOW AN H.264 OPTION IN THE VIDEO SETTINGS!

H.263, H.264, and MPEG4 are the options under encoding. I'm going to try H.264 and see if it's choppy the first pass through.

Tnx for trying it out. Glad to hear it's only choppy on the first playback. On The leaked version the videos is always choppy.

Something odd happened with my update, I'm originally updated to the 6/29 update. I'm rooted with unrevoked 3, basically I just use it for Wifi tether.

Anyways I just downloaded the newest update OTA, and it rebooted, and started installing then about half way, a big Orange exclamation mark in a triangle popped up. Its been frozen like that for several minutes.

Anyone have any suggestions please?

OK I went to try out the videos and at the end of my video list I now have 2 new videos...one looks like ESPN coverage, the other is some f'd up music video called "dolls of dash". Anybody else have this?
