Something odd happened with my update, I'm originally updated to the 6/29 update. I'm rooted with unrevoked 3, basically I just use it for Wifi tether.

Anyways I just downdjloaded the newest update OTA, and it rebooted, and started installing then about half way, a big Orange exclamation mark in a triangle popped up. Its been frozen like that for several minutes.

Anyone have any suggestions please?

Pop you battery..the update won't work with .3 I already tried...

yeah me too....i thought someone said it would just break the root and install the new update but....not so much.

Now that you mention it - yes... so is it really?? Or did you subliminally suggest it to me? lol does seem a lil slower...

That's about it for me, my system panel seems to not be working though.

First where are you?
Second do a battery pull wait about 1 minute and then out battery back in and try again make sure your WiFi is on.

OK I went to try out the videos and at the end of my video list I now have 2 new videos...one looks like ESPN coverage, the other is some f'd up music video called "dolls of dash". Anybody else have this?

I went to Gallery... All Videos... and all I have are 4 videos I shot with the phone. I also went to "Videos" on the All apps screen, but still only my 4 videos are there.

Flawless, painless update in Denver. Less than 10 mins total time to update over wifi.

Strange. Yeah I just went to videos, I have a ton of them, so I have to scroll for awhile to get to the newest...and I have my latest videos and then these two....I'll throw it on a PC and try and find out where they are stored.

sorry.. should have clarified. I had the leaked .3 version. Trying to install the .6 version that someone posted the link to. It won't update. My fault for being impatient.

can you further clarify what you mean by .3? And what can I do to get the update? I really dont care for root.

If you did the pre release update on the 29th the new update just fails since the numbers don't match. This was and update for the earlier base band..since it is signed and verifies the OS version it will fail..

.3 was the leaked version that some of us downloaded a few days ago.

.6 is version people are getting ota right now

noticed a few things, the 3G symbol is different.

benchmark linpack was showing 37down to 20, lots i mean LOTS of extra things running when i opened ATK..

What is in the OTA update that wasnt in the previous version? New stuff, big fixes?

I will have to wait to get the OTA because I, like many did the manual update.
On that topic, any one that manually updated get the OTA???
