NEW (Official) EVO Froyo OTA update thread

Market -> Menu -> Downloads -> Menu -> Home -> Menu -> Downloads

I know it sounds strange, but thats what I did and they appeared

Right after reading your message, I tried yet again checking my downloads in the Market just the normal way, and all my apps magically showed up! Strange it took so long -- I installed the 2.2 update over an hour ago. I guess you just have to be a little patient, and they'll eventually show up.

Anyway, thanks for your help!

Haha on me! I thought I had a magic solution...guess I just had to wait. I told you it sounded strange ;)

Does anyone else have to click the box to get flash to run using the Dolphin Brower? It works fine using the stock browser. Is there a setting for automatic load flash on Dolphin Browser?

I just watched part of a Glee episode using Dolphin without having to click on anything. But, fyi..I noticed AFTER I updated to froyo that there was a dolphin update and I did it. Could this possibly solve your issue?????

So sorry, I am wrong...I just tried it again and I did indeed need to click the box. I guess I was just so excited the first time around I didn't even notice :p

stock browser is toast. then when i click on the green down arrow internet just cuts out. anyone else having this problem?

does anyone know of a way to hide the number that appears after someone's name in the message list? i'm seeing like Brian Smith (456) which i'd guess is the number of texts in the thread but it's annoying and i want it to go away. let me know if anyone else has this and/or has figured out how to make it disappear

Can't download it, when I go into HTC Software update and click on check now it stays on "Checking" forever, so far it's been like that for over 30 min, I tried it again with wifi enabled and it's taking just as long. I'm in Queens, NY

Anyone having similar issues? and know of a fix?

I recently reverted by EVO back to stock

FIrmware: 2.1-update1

Build #
1.32.651.1 CL171253 release-keys

Software #
1.32.651.1

Every time I go to HTC update
It downloads and tries to install
1.32.651.6

I download the update, it asks me to INstall Now; I say yes!
Phone reboots, get the HTC logo
Screen turns to the installing with the green arrow then it turns to a red question mark and the installation fails, phone boots up.

Suggestions?

Once it his the red exclamation point hold volume up and power. Scroll with volume rocker to update press power to select.

I'm Guessing btw.. Try it tho, can't hurt.

I downloaded the update and tried to install it. It rebooted, went to what I assume is the update screen (little green android standing next to a box with an arrow coming out of it) then the box with the arrow changes to a triangle with an exclamation point and nothing further happens :( I'm running the unrEVOked root...

Same here, haven't figured out how to turn it off either.

Let me know if your successful. I'd really like to get froyo on this and don't really care about keeping my root.
