Keep getting service unavailable error when I check for OTA

I am as well...maybe because I'm rooted

If we are rooted can we get the OTA I have the first one. I revived a notification that said it was downloading but then said thee was an error.

Just got it, nothing seems to have changed for me. The first OTA GB worked just fine, I see no difference (yet)

I got the notification at like 8:30p CST and i must have lost the connection or something because when i go to the software status and it says download failed, so when i go to check new it says service unavailable. Will i get another chance to download it???

hmmm.. 2:15am in Buffalo, NY and updates still say service is unavailable.. I am on GB 2.11.605.3, but I am wondering if the reason I am not getting the update is because after this last GB update I did a hard reset a couple of times, and now when I go to settings, software update, status, it just says Source: Verizon Wireless, the rest is empty.. I wonder if by hard resetting the phone now Verizon thinks my phone does not have the GB? Kind of curious...

I am in the same boat. Trying to update my friend tbolt to gingerbread and only have been getting service unavailable error. And its getting really old really fast.

Wow, people need to relax. It could take weeks before everyone gets the update. You're not all going to get it within the first couple hours. If you are that impatient, download it from android police and install it yourself.

Can anyone actually confirm that completely stock and unrooted NON GB users are starting to get the 146 megabyte full OTA download. From what everybody appears to be reporting, it looks like the OTA is only updating the security vunerability and 605.3 to 605.5 users who already have the original GB install.

Anybody got the FULL 605.5 GB OTA install yet?
