New OTA on Verizon Support

Just updated--went fine but all of my widgets now say "Problem Loading Widget." Each. And. Every. One. Trashing and putting them back on the home screen solves the problem, but it is incredibly annoying. Anyone else having this problem?

I'm rooted, got the notification for the smaller update. Phone restarts and gets about 1/4 of the way loaded and then I get the Triangle with the ! in the middle of it. After doing numerous battery pulls, the phone keeps restarting and getting the same error. Any ideas?

ota update only works for stock users

You are not supposed to update your phone if you are rooted...... Baaad idea.

I got the update in SoCal a short time ago. I had played with various forms of this update with my phone rooted. Went back to stock and took the update.

However, I noticed in the various GB ROM's the HTC Agenda widget did not work the same as pre GB. Previously the Agenda widget would remove past calendar entries from view. Under GB all entries remain until midnight. I would like the widget to work like it did previously. I live on my calendar and dont want to see past appointments in the agenda widget. Anyone have any thoughts?

Just updated my TBolt and it all went smoothly! Love the changes to the notification bar and now having quick settings there!

I just posted this in the "Update failed?" thread below, but looks like more people are posting here right now.

My office is horrible with service, but if i restart I at least get 3G (mind you, I'm in Mid-Town Manhattan, but I digress!). Before I restarted I lost service during the upgrade and thus, lost the upgrade. When I restart, go back in settings and click get updates it says there is no updates but when I go to Status has the 2.11.605.6 as the name but the status is download failed.

Sooo... how do I get this upgrade back?

I was able to get the update here in AZ around 9:33AM.
I was on the stock 605_3 load. I have had no problems with the update to 605_5.
Everything went well. I have seen no issues with my widgets or other apps I use.
So far everything is working.. For those on 605_3 it appears they fixed the the mobile
network on/off indication in the quick setting section of the notification bar. It now is correct.
:D

For those who had the download fail and now see the "No Updates Available" message... "DON'T PANIC!"

The exact same thing happened to me during the last Gingerbread rollout.

I don't know if it helped at all, but I did a battery and SIM pull for about 5 minutes, then powered the phone back up and started checking every 10 minutes or so. About 30-40 minutes of "No Update Available" later, I got the update screen again and it downloaded successfully that time.

I don't know if the battery/SIM pull had anything whatsoever to do with it - it might have happened anyway. But a cleanly rebooted phone has to be safer to upgrade anyway, right? So it can't hurt.

Just updated. I had the full leaked mr2 ruu (actually the one after the first reboot happy mr2). it updated with the 140ish meg ota. had to check manually, wasnt pushed.

after checking all morning, final the update was available, now showing 605.5 and voicemail notifications are working again.

Got mine at 10am here in So Cal. I already had the 605.3 and really didn't have any problems except for vm notifications not working.

Good thing to keep in mind too; ensure you're in a good signal area before attempting to get/download the update. AND that you have at least 60% battery! :)

Help I can not get the update still. I check for it and it says checking then just goes away no message whether it is available or not

I downloaded it just before 1PM EDT. I actually received the last OTA before VZW pulled it. I don't see a difference. One thing that is annoying is that you can no longer go into the app tray and just scroll as far and as fast as you like. It scrolls one "page" at a time. Is there any way to change this?
