NBD, assuming you mean 12 hours "up time," a more important question is how many hours "awake time" and what percentage of battery left. As soon as anyone has complete data, we would love to see it. Thanks!

I installed the RUU this morning. Everything seemed to have went off without a hitch. But when I tried to connect to set up gmail account/access internet it would not work despite being in a 3G/4G signal. I have restored factory settings and everything is working as it should. I guess I am going to wait for this to go over OTA.

No I am not rooted I just hit the power bottom and press down, and when the menu popped up there was an option for factory reset.

Everything is working fine now though. I don't think I want to play with it again.

Has anyone successfully installed this and noticed a difference. I'm rooted and running perfect storm 1.3 which is great but I still occasionally lose data connection when going from 3g to 4g

Did you flash the radio only, or the full RUU? Jcase posted this morning that if you flashed the radio file only, you didn't get the updated LTE portion, and your connection would likely be flakey. He posted an updated file. Alternatively, the full RUU has the complete radio plus other fixes.

I installed the full RUU (unrooted) last night and I see a big improvement in the GPS and more stable 4G. Before the flash my GPS couldn't find my location at times and sometimes took 5 or more minutes to locate. Also before my 4g would work perfect at home one day then out with the no connection the next so i would have to switch to 3g manually. But now the GPS is on point and I haven't had to switch to 3g or wifi since.

What is RUU?

Rom Update Utility -- and fair warning the RUU itself will wipe the phone, not sure of they have ripped out the code and made an update only version yet. Generally when a RUU leaks the OTA of it happens is only a few days away. The RUU is what the testers use on their phones.

In mot cases on you wont get the OTA push if you are not running the expected older version of the software. However, as almost always happens someone will dig the URL out of the logs or manage to save a copy of the update file before flashing it and make it available OTA for manual updaters.

I loaded this RUU. One thing I noticed and can't figure out why its occurring is a few of my paid apps (MLB at bat $14.99 and Astro Pro) do not switch over or even show up in the market. I believe my market did update itself. Anybody have an idea. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I can't live without my MLB at bat.

Anybody? Please help. I know I posted this in two other threads but no responses. Is this happening to anyone else? Can it be that these apps aren't compatible with the update? I already tried clearing the cash and uninstalling the update then letting it update. It Didn't work.

It would help if you were more clear on exactly what you have done to try and resolve the problem. You were aware that by installing this it would wipe all your data and apps, right? Did you make any backups?

If you purchased the apps from the marketplace, it should be synced with your google account.

I then installed all the missing apps from the mybackup pro. The only two apps that I purchased previously were not listed in the backup and were not listed in the market. Others were there. The two apps were not even listed at all when I do a search for them.

Best guess would be that this is a newer built of Froyo than you had before and that the app developer didn't specify this build as being compatible with the app or else the app simply isn't available in the market anymore.

+1. I really want to know about this.

Sounds like something that contributes to battery life issues for sure. Sounds loosely like that sensor is active when it is not supposed to be. Maybe the orientation sensor turns the proximity sensor on and off but now even when the phone is flat the proximity sensor is running. Either this or its just entirely gobbling up juice for no real reason. Both pure speculation...
