New Radio Rip 2.11.605.19 PG05IMG.zip

Should clear cache/dalvik (one, both, neither) before flashing?

So can anyone confirm if this radio works with G3D v1.2?

I've got radio 2.11.605.09

I've used those radios with that ROM without a problem, so you shouldn't have any issues. Of course, the radios from 2.11.605.19 also work if you wanted to flash those.

Does it matter which radio I use, either the one posted at the top of the thread or the one you mentioned? I would think there both the same? Is there a difference in how I flash them?

The one at the top of the thread is the most recent official radio (excluding the buggy ICS radio leaked). Both work fine with that ROM. To flash any radio, drop it on the root of your sd card, boot into hboot, wait for the prompt to install the update, push the up volume rocker, wait for it to load, then reboot. You now have the new radio. I'd also recommend wiping cache and dalvik. I do it before flashing the radio, but I don't think there's anything wrong with doing it after.

Thanks for the help. I flashed this in bootloader and it said radio_v2 pass. The bootloader screen also showed Radio-1.49.00.0406w_1. But in Settings/About Phone/Software Version, it still shows 2.11.605.09.

So did I flash the new radio correctly? I thought the software version would change to 2.11.605.19?

When you go to Settings, About Phone, Software, and look at the baseband numbers, do you have 1.49 etc or 1.48 etc?

It says 1.49.00.0406w_1. So it looks like it worked?

hey everyone first post here. i was wondering do you have to rename the file?
cuz its not showing up on the hboot

How's it going and welcome to AC.

I'll assume you're using a pc. Connect your phone and place the radio file on the root of your sd card. Make sure it's not in a folder. Name the file PG05IMG. Don't add .zip; the pc does it for you. Power down, reboot into hboot, let it do it's thing, press the up volume button, and then reboot when prompted. If this doesn't work, let me know.

My apologizes, I just noticed the Liquid ICS v1.5 MR2 ROM already has these radios baked into it. Sorry for the useless post :-[

This is the radio I'm using, and Jester recommends this one for his version, so I think it's the way to go. After first flashing the ROM, WiFi would turn off when I let the phone sleep, and then I'd have to toggle it on and off to get it back. But that doesn't happen anymore for whatever reason. What issues are you experiencing?
