Verizon Galaxy S8 New user to to Samsung VR headset - App suggestions?

Hi,

So I am getting one of those Samsung VR headsets for my S8+. This is the first VR device for me, and not a single one of my friends have one, so my question is. What are some cool things to actually do with it? What apps should I get for it? I know Netflix is a thing, so gonna try that. But anything else real cool for it? Any anime related apps?

Netflix, Hulu... there's a few apps that actually let you 'stream' videos from other apps and files from your phone. As for games, I really like Smash Hit, and Temple Run seems to be a highly-rated one, too. Ocean Rift is a nice visual experience as are the 'Face your Fears' and 'Rollercoaster' apps from Samsung and Occulus. Dreadhalls is nice for a good scare. Wands seems to be interesting (especially if you're getting the controller and are into Harry Potter), but I haven't really played it yet.

Once you get more friends on board, you can join the social app that comes with the store, and get together and watch the same movie across devices, even if you're not all in the same place (has to be a local file, though...would be nice if you could do it with Netflix).
