Yayyy, my 21 year old son has been rubbing his Evo in my face. I'm going tot tease him when I get the Thunderbolt lol.The EVO doesn't have Sense 2.0 which is what the Bolt is supposed to have.
Whether or not they went to the newest 2.1 is unlikely as that requires Gingerbread, I thought.
evo does NOT have new sense, only US phones so far is inspire an tbolt. an does not have to have gingerbread, inspire 4g has sense 2.1 an is running android 2.2
it has yet to be determined if htc sense.com will work with tbolt, it works with inspire. it is up to verizon to allow it.

question said:so will we be able to register the Thunderbolt on Thursday @ www.htcsense.com? I checked the other day and Thunderbolt ain't in the list
HTC's Answer said:Your findings were correct. Thunderbolt is not currently supported by HTCSense.com. I apologize for any confusion.
HTCSense.com is a flop if it can't support HTC's newest devices.
will it eventually? is this something that can be added via update?
It can. This has more to do with Verizon than HTC.
Keep in mind Verizon has a service that comes with a paid warranty and HTC does the same thing (locate and wipe) for free. Not to mention Verizon is uber anal about anything that uses their network and they likely want to do more testing.
Never mind you just answered the question, this is disappointing I love HTC SENSE *sigh* what's is the point in calling it HTC if we can't even have thatIt can. This has more to do with Verizon than HTC.

This should clear up the htcsense.com question.![]()
That's exactly how I feel. I don't think Verizon will ever allow it simply because it will eliminate things that we would normally pay them for smh. Ugh Evo looking better and better, sorry guys just disappointed about this. I was looking forward to those features. This is very disappointing even when you consider HTCSense is still in beta, it's features are a really nice add-on and in my mind helps to sell HTC phones over others OEM's phones.
Perhaps.. but there are other services out there (Lookout Mobile) that do the same things that Sense.com does and Verizon doesn't try and block them (although it easily could).
Also, I think if it were a VZW decision, HTC would come out and say that and tell you to follow up with them.
Isn't that something you have to pay for as well? I'm saying Verizon would never let you have something for free that they are actively trying to sell you.
