Blue and green sounds really nice!I wished they had it in the state. I reslly.like the blue and green version
Oh I'd love to have a P10. Had they been in offered in the US I would have one of those over the honor 8I really like the P10 back material.
I would strongly consider it if it came to the states.Oh I'd love to have a P10. Had they been in offered in the US I would have one of those over the honor 8
Unfortunately we won't ever see it though. That phone has been out a while now so we know it's not coming here. I hate that we are missing out on quite a few great phones here from Huawei Honor. Heck we only have three phones of theirs to choose from now. That's all and all three are well over a year old now. The more and more I think about it the more I begin to think that we may not see anything else at all until they enter the US. I hope I am totally wrong but they certainly have not gave us any indication of any new releases here. I know why which is what I read in an article which they stated that the US is not their priority right now. Unfortunate.
I believe you are right. They of course focus their efforts everywhere else but the US. I believe they have recently entered other parts of the world and are of course growing there too. Pretty much the US market is the only part of the world and they hold no market share in and just think how powerful the US is in terms of sales and recognition for any company for that matter but yet Huawei Honor somehow has managed to still become number two in the world without any US market share. So think about it. Once they enter the US and establish themselves here which won't take but a year or two, think just how powerful and big they will in fact become. There is no possible way that they won't take the number one position in the world within the mobile industry once getting a strong hold here in the US. The US is one of the most powerful or if the most elite places in the world and that goes for everything to include global sales recognition. Once Huawei honor establishes themselves here they will very quickly within two years of entering the US then having ties with the four major carriers here become number one world wide. I don't think they will ever surpass Apple for being number one in the US alone but world wide they no doubt will be on top. They are full of innovation which leads to creativity that leads to superior and unique products that grow sales. We in the US only have access to only three of their many many devices which are the honor 8, mate 9 and honor 6x. A lot have stated here that the honor 8 did poorly in terms of sales here but I think honor already knew that would in fact be the case and the honor 8 actually did better here than what honor had initially projected for the honor 8. It's why I think the honor 8 will indeed get updated with Oreo but very late though bc the US as they have stated in articles I've read isn't their priority right now. Huawei honors plan is to enter the US when 5g rolls out and all the major carriers are offering it which 5g not only will be much faster but from what I read it will open up avenues for the mobile tech industry that we've never seen before. That's when Huawei plans to officially enter the US which I believe that to be about two years away now. So one day we will get the opportunity to choose from all of their already superior to Samsung products and I look forward to that. Personally I'll always be more of a fan of the honor line bc they offer flagship level and spec devices at an affordable price just like the honor 8 is. I've heard and read on multiple occasions that the Kirin 950 is comparable to the 820 flagship processor. What flagship phone that uses the 820 can you get for 300 dollars here in the US that you can think of for the same price? I can't think of any. So if they stay true to their superior mid range devices at such an affordable price there is no way they will not dominate the US in the near future. It's a big reason why I'm such a fan of the honor 8. It's an amazing flagship level device that can be had for around $300 or at times even cheaper. That's unheard of here. It's too bad. Is Europe their priority? They make such good, quality phones.
Not really at all I would not think. They are are first going to have to partner up with all four major carriers to even get on the map here in the US. Majority of the US cosumers use a carrier for their phone service. Unlike these forums where a lot of us buy unlocked phones and use carriers with no carrier fees and taxes to be paid like cricket or metro pcs or boost Mobile and so on as our carriers so that we can buy unlocked phones without having a tie to one carrier. Most people don't do that so Huawei honor will have to start there then they will have to advertise here and then keep on selling unlocked models. What I'm afraid of is that once they partner up with the major carriers a lot of their phones are going to be carrier exclusive thus leaving us unlocked phone consumers oyt to dry. We won't have full access to all of their phones due to the exclusive relationships with some of the carriers. Verizon is notorious for having exclusive Verizon only phones as well as AT&T too. So although we will at least have a few more phones to choose from most of their phones will only be available through the carriers they have ties with which I'm afraid will definitely be the case. Look at motorola. They have lots of their phones that are only exclusive to Verizon only. They've gotten better about that but Huawei honor at first is going to be a specialty brand which means carrier exclusives. Eventually the unlocked world will start to see all of their phones but not for a while I don't think.US is a hard market to penetrate. Even if they offer great quality phones, it won't succeed. They need to market their products. They got a beta program for US in their fb page. Not sure if it's helping
Yeah this is certainly unfortunate. But seems to correspond with their actionsUnfortunately we won't ever see it though. That phone has been out a while now so we know it's not coming here. You aren't wrong but they are taking quantity over quality. Think about it though... One Chinese carrier has a lot more customers than all the usa carriers combined.I believe you are right. They of course focus their efforts everywhere else but the US. I believe they have recently entered other parts of the world and are of course growing there too. They need to market but first they need to work on being in all the major carriers since most people in the usa buy through carriers or carrier retailersUS is a hard market to penetrate. Exactly what I was saying. Majority of average mobile phone consumers get their phones through the major four carriers and actually would never even think about buying a phone outright and then going to a carrier stand alone to get their service mainly because a mobile phone is just a phone to them and nothing more rather than a lot of us looking at our phones differently than the average person. For some of us mobile phones is a hobby of some kind and I'm one of them so there is no way I'd ever use a major carrier again. I'm totally happy with cricket where I don't pay any taxes or carrier fees on my bill. It's a straight up $55 dollars even a month for unlimited data. They need to market but first they need to work on being in all the major carriers since most people in the usa buy through carriers or carrier retailers

Carrier relationship is indeed a huge achievement. Getting their phones in all the big four carriers would be a huge help. But itdk how easy that is. Theyre talking with atnt to sell the M9 Pro exclusively with them. I guess that's a nice start to move in the state. They need to market but first they need to work on being in all the major carriers since most people in the usa buy through carriers or carrier retailers

Well the carriers know the position Huawei is in and I am sure are looking to get one up on them. Same was true of Samsung years ago.... Gotta suck it up at the beginning and accept unfavorable terms, possibly losing money at the beginning.Carrier relationship is indeed a huge achievement.
