Nexus 10 tablet blacking out even if its 100% battery then when i turn it on it says 0%

Thats whats happening to my tablet now.. now i want to know how this warranty procedure goes.

Im from the Philippines, and nexus 10 didnt go out in the market here so I bought it from someone who buyed it from korea or in the states

Now I asked the person i bought it from , if they cover warranty. but they just refered me to a gadget shop in Robinsons Manila

What I want to know is that , if I can have this fixed in a Samsung service center or not . will they honor my warranty?

Im afraid of having it repaired in a gadget shop , since they are obviously not authorized.

Suggestions guys? i dont know if its the battery or the screen thats the problem

this are what happened to my tablet

>> it black out even if it was 100% , when i restarted it was 0%

>> there are times it was okay but most of the time it isnt. ...it needs a charger connected to it or else itl just black out..sometimes its just okay

>. frequent blackouts..cant turn on . if you turn it on. itll just shut off again UNLESS you havea charger connected to it..and when you open it itl show 100% batterty

Atiya as people have said in countless threads you obviously have a defective unit. Your problem is unique in that you chose to buy it from a reseller, not directly from Google or an authorized reseller like Walmart. I can't recall if your unit was sealed when you got it or not so the possibility may exist of it being "used" or "stolen". Sadly this is the risk you take when you buy a product not officially released for sale in your country.

Warrenties are essentially contracts. Your contract is designed for another country and may not be enforcable from yours.

Because of your UNIQUE situation you are going to have to persistantly make your situation known to Google and/or Samsung until they give you an answer. Be prepared to pay shipping as I suspect there may specifec locations that are approved/qualified to repair the N10.

Good Luck.

I have to agree with this. Though as a side note, the amount of issues he makes threads about and then repeats in other threads is staggering and I'm getting pretty suspicious. Especially since like you said, it's been suggested to him many times that he has a defective unit and yet he continues to seemingly ignore this bit of advice and continues to post about the millions of issues he may or may not be having.

so your doubting me. anyway. from day one of my posts i said i loved my new nexus 10
but sadly, like you said it is defective. Im actually having it repaired right now. their going to replace the battery...

So now I was wondering how much is the resale value if i bought my tablet for $570.86 ( @4,490 PHP) now im planning to sell it at $454 ( 19,500 PHP)

what is the depreciation vlue for samsung nexus tablets? thanks... dont worry i wont post any more complaining.. after having its batteries replaced. spent $ 59 ( 2,500 PHP) Im planning to sell it right away...

Yes he could be a stealth marketeer [anti-Marketeer?] or he could be a somehat immature/inexperianced dude form the Phillipenes. If it was worth the trouble I'm sure the IP address could be checked but why bother looks like he is selling his unit andwil have no need to complain any longer.

glad to hear you were able to find a way to get it repaired.

The play store sells the 32Gb for $499. and the 16GB for $399. Because of the problems you have experianced I think you should aim for the $425 range, assuming your repair was done by an authorized repair center. If it was the fly by night gadget shop you mentioned above then I'd price it at the same cost as the 16GB.

That seems really high to me with all things considered about what he has happened with this tablet. I have to wonder about who or where he got it from. I suspect it was messed up before he got it, and maybe that person or group knew it was and was happy to take his money and run.

I mean think about all the issues he has mentioned and then would you be willing to take the risk.

There have been enough trolls already so I've become a bit suspicious overall. Just cause I say i'm suspicious though doesn't mean I'm flatout calling you out as a troll though.

yes I am an inexperience dude from the philippines actually =)
sigh .this is my first tablet. thats why im so bummed out
anyway the service center said the problem was the battery. but they are not selling GT-P8110 batteries here in the philippines

QUESTION (1)
Where can i buy the battery, cant seem to find the battery in amazon or Ebay
QUESTION (2)
can the battery of NEXUS 10 tablets be replaced? i mean if thats the problem ...
QUESTION (3)
The service center is NOT an authorized service center. he Opened the back of my tablet.and I saw it.. But I dont see any seal which says ( warranty VOID if broken seal) so that means its not right? gets?

Thanks

IF the service center opened this , like shown in my tablet.does it mean its VOID of warranty already? no seals have been broken
