I love nexus as much as this site does. But 2gb ram 6700 mah battery. Not sure if the display is the same as the nexus 5 but I get poor vewing angles. My moms 2011 Samsung tab 10 has 1 GB ram and a 7000 mah battery. When there are already 3 GB ram tabs out. I seriously am disappointed. I was hoping for nexus 10 type leadership in tablets with this.

Edit: I honestly may just get a deal 2013 n7 to have a tablet until something worthy comes out

Edit again: the nexus 10 had 2gb ram and 9000 mah battery !!!!!

I would assume the battery specs usually aim for a targeted amount of time... let's say 8-10 hrs... for most builds. So the smaller battery most likely just means that the device is much more efficient with newer hardware than the Sam or N10. And according to tests so far, the CPU is much more powerful. Then factor in the design of lollypop to be more battery efficient as well.

You can get a nexus 10 new on eBay with 32gb storage for 250. I know it's old hat but mine still runs great and it even had higher PPI.

Battery size will be based on the efficiency of the hardware. They also wanted to be lighter than iPad. A15 CPUs, as on the N10 and K1 32 bit, are not known for being power efficient. K1 64 bit was designed for highly efficient operation (completely different architecture than anything on the market). Android L is supposed to work on devices as low as 512mb.
