Nexus 4 Dropped- PLEASE READ AND HELP

I'd be fine with that but I'm not sure how much I like the idea of having it replaced with a refurb [YOU NEVER KNOW WHETHER IT'S A GOOD ONE OR NOT!!!!] and me losing all my data though I take it that may happen eitherway?

Uhmm yours will be refurbished when youget it fixed. I would not count on your data being saved but hey you never know.

Only on the floor from the counter thank god so I HOPE it was just the digitizer/screen.

And to think I even considered buying a Nexus 4!!
My Motorola defy+ was thrown, dropped, kicked, chewed by a large dog, swam in liquids in multiple occasions and there is not a scratch on the screen!
I just wish they made a successor to it because it's slow and not very bright.

Called LG, said that they'd only be able to give me a quote after I send it in. I'll call them again later after I decide what to do. I have a slight feeling that they might just charge me extra to pretty much just fix everything that doesn't need fixing but yeah. Thoughts?

If you read through other threads here most people seem to get away for $140 if it's just the screen that is broken. All that I've read have been pleased with LG's service.
