Nexus 4 Ordered on November 27: Order Status and Tracking

For those of you, *cough* Corance *cough*, that are finally getting your phone after being promised delivery on Monday I have three words: shipment fee refund. Who's with me?!

Regardless of whether you have enough nerve to steel yourself for another customer service call or not--I am actually impressed with the fire that went under that UPS anus last night. Check it:

Why would I ask for a refund? It shipped on the 4th and is coming today. Seems about right to me.

I'm going to push hard for a shipping refund myself. I think that Google did an incredibly poor job here. I received a shipping notice on 11/30 and paid for 2nd day shipping. To my mind that means that I should have received my package by 12/3. Today is the 6th. On top of that, I was charged for the phone well before it actually shipped when my order receipt explicitly stated that I would not be charged until shipment. That's standard practice for just about any retailer I've ever ordered from.

Maybe I'm being a stickler and perhaps I should just be happy that my phone is arriving within the 1-2 week window, but dealing with Google's customer service and complete lack of transparency and organization has left me with a really bad taste in my mouth.

I would urge everyone who received the 11/30 notification and then spent a week in limbo to demand a refund on their shipping fees. Hitting them in the purse is just about the only sure fire way to have them make the significant changes that need to be made.

Same boat as a lot of you guys....received shipping notice last Friday --> limbo --> phone is on the truck as we speak for delivery today. Coincidentally, the Diztronic case I ordered on Monday will arrive by USPS today, and today happens to be the last day of my current Verizon billing cycle! If all goes as planned, I'll be leaving Verizon and joining T-Mobile today. Will depend on how much time I have to test out T-Mo's NYC network.

Ordered a 16G within the first five minutes on the 27th with a 1-2 week shipping time. Label was issued 11/30 and phone is out for delivery today in Socal.

For those still fighting to get your Shipping refunded, seriously just let it go.... Its not that serious. You paid close to $400 for a phone and are complaining about $13? Cmon.

Aww man, that's a bit unfortunate. Hopefully I'm a little luckier, but retrieving packages in NYC is such an ordeal usually. My apt building doesn't have a buzzer on the outside, so I usually have to leave a note with my cell # on it on the main door and hope that the delivery person will call me to let me know they're downstairs, lol. I can hang out at my apt until about 5pm, after which I must leave and I won't be able to stop by the UPS sorting facility before they close will call! Sooo, let's hope it's delivered in the next 5 hours and that I get the call

I really don't think it's about the $13.00 for the folks who are sour about their experience with Google.

I got an email stating that my phone would arrive on Monday evening at the latest--in fact--I still have that email. You do what you gotta do...or don't.

wonder how they are choosing who to ship to? I also ordered the 8g model on the 27th @ 3:58 eastern. I see quite a few people here and elsewhere that have had theirs shipped (all in the 4-5 week like myself).....hope to see the email soon!!!

Does anyone know if the package needs a signature? I saw on someone else's screenshot that you needed a signature, but on mine it doesn't give me the option.

People have found it on their doorstep so no package does not require a signature.

Now, look at all these kindly posts coming out after the device-shipment flush of relief. I think we can all see Google's master plan beginning to emerge: it was never about the phones, but togetherness, the kind of community that can really only emerge from collective loathing. I, for one, applaud Google for their willingness to become scapegoats for our cause.

... but then, if they deliberately sabotaged the orders just to make us hate them, I suppose we're still obliged to do so. Don't put down your pitchforks yet, gang! Shipping refunds ahoy! Hopefully I can send the request from my new phone for a touch of irony. If not, then it will be just. I can't lose.

For some reason, no amount of googling led me to this, so I had to manually search google support. Anyways, there it is. It says for the Nexus 7, but upon looking on the left side of my phone, the same thing is there.

Edit: Be careful when you open the box to get the charger. There is a small plastic bag with the thing you'll need to insert the sim card. Don't lose it. It says you can use a paper clip, but you actually have to find one first lol
