Just noticed something new and it seemed like the screen is dimmer than when it was back in kit kat. In order for it to be as bright as 25% on kit kat I have to readjust the brightness to 60% I guess it's one of the new adjustment to keep the battery life to last longer

Go into settings/display and try it with adaptive brightness turned off. I had the same experience when my Nexus 7 got lollipop and this fixed it.

I was thinking about ordering a Nexus 5, but this update breathed new life into my Nexus 4.
