So the korean widget is not very sexy. Not sure yet I will want to continue with the folders in the dock.

Deep, I LOVE this! Uncluttered, plenty of free real estate but even if not used, very easy on the eyes. Simple is better!

I rather like the Korean widget if for no other reason than it's impressive. But I think the whole screen looks good. Besides, the point of these gadgets is practicality, and, if you use that widget frequently, you should have it at your fingertips.

Agreed, number one priority is practicality. The korean widget would not be as useful if it was on a different screen.
 
@ysbg what launcher & widgets did you use? looks fantastic simple. Personally I wouldn't use folders in dock, but anyways it looks great.

For the date I use minimalistic text. For the dual city clock and weather I use zooper widget. Finally my calendar is smooth calendar. I will update my post with links. And I use the stock launcher.
