Nexus 4 Screenshots: Share them here!

I think the simplicity of the set up is what makes it attractive. I'm looking at your Holo Eyes theme and it's a work of art but some would find it a lot of work to pull it off. I have every widget you use so it's not going to be anything for me to apply the theme this weekend. Others will find it very hard to put together with all the widgets and screens. On top of that, iAndropple is customizing the wallpaper per user requests. I think that's what really appeals to everyone. Of the 13 screens on mycolorscreen, I'll be trying at least 5 of them. Keep it up, we need artists like you.

Thank you. Much appreciated. The Holo eyes theme was certainly a very difficult theme and isn't for everyone. There are so many choices on Mycolorscreen.com and something for everyone. Here's a sneak peek at my latest screen. It's finished and has flipping screens with 7 pages including my calendar and calculator. I used UCCW for most of it so it should be easy to set up. I'll be doing the tutorial this weekend.

First post here (been lurking for some time though). Got my Nexus 4 a couple of weeks ago and spent the last day or so working on my home screen(s).

Used Nova Launcher Prime, UCCW, Zooper Widget, Battery Graph Widget, Eye in Sky weather and Photoshop. Still needs a little refinement.

No you don't. It's just Nova launcher and a few widgets. If you have a Nexus 4 you can set up my last theme called Nexus Life. It's pretty cool too. And the tutorials are already available at www.mycolorscreen.com/badbrad

Here's the screen shots. It has a lock screen and 4 other wallpapers.

Okay, let me add that you are my inspiration. I've kind of figured out how to work with UCCW (finally) and Lightning Launcher. I could become dangerous! lol

I have one question, is there a template to follow with the wallpaper? The layout is perfect, but I'd like to use a different color scheme

Thanks :)
There isn't really any kind of template. I just took a similar wallpaper into the photo editor as a reference for size and copied it with my own colors by making a new image using a plain background and drawing solid rectangles with drop shadows. That's all there is to it.

There's a similar design on my color screen with a tutorial that could help you out. It's here http://mycolorscreen.com/2013/03/30/plus-ui-3/

Well here's what I've done using your wallpaper so far. almost exact except for my frequent apps. At first I had no idea what I was doing, but once I got the hang of UCCW it was easy. I used beautiful widgets for the weather and ClockQ for the clock. I didnt like lightning launcher at first but i'm digging it now

I think I will work on a wallpaper to fit what I like and see what I come up with :)

Looks good I like the embedded icon look

sent from pure android on tapatalk. carrier controlled updates is the worst smartphone spec of them all.

thanks for the link. that sort of opens up ideas in my brain. while I used the template/wallpaper from omniusovermind to get a feel for it, I see from what you posted I can do a lot of other things.
There are so many options it boggles my mind at times. It's like getting a new phone anytime you like. And if you enjoy playing with the setup and widgets you can create your own masterpiece and upload it to my color screen.

Multi Live wallpaper and UCCW were the hardest ones for me to figure out at first too, but after playing you'll discover how much you can do. Have fun.

I'm glad I was given the opportunity to give you guys some fun theming to play with using LL. I Had to give up my affair with Lightning Launcher because while it's fairly fast I'm a speed demon bordering on obsessiveness who likes to get as close to the speed and smoothness of stock as I can so I returned back to the traditional AOSP style launchers (Holo HD in my case). My last theme using vertically scrolling large uccw cards was was largely motivated due to JB not having a "cardock" mode for driving but last night I installed CarHome Ultra which solved that problem so I decided to go back to speed and minimalism now that I don't need big icons anymore. I got this theme from "Black Simplicity" on mycolorscreen.com

Have you tried using the Faster than light setting in Nova launcher? It's freakishly fast.
