The "weight on enter key" trick eventually worked for me. I'm not counting my nexus 4 until it's in my hot little hands, though.

Just got mine ordered too, thanks to my old 3gs making itself somewhat useful on the enter key!
Make sure your details are correct, Id swear my order was cancelled the first time for having my address incorrectly setup in Google Wallet.

I gave up on continually mashing the Proceed button, and instead decided to just hold down the Enter key and not let go.
Coincidentally or not, after just 30 seconds of that, my order went through.

the method worked for me too. Just purchsed my nexus 4, so happy! Keep trying guys, the tab/enter on proceed works!
FINALLY got it ... had Chrome & Firefox open, went through after hitting tab/enter on proceed.
Probably clicked proceed 5,000 times then read on here about the tab and went through after about 10 minutes.
Contract on my Blackberry (that's right) was up 2/12, didn't like the 4s, never considered android til iphone 5 came out, then took the time to actually learn what I was buying. I think this was a smart choice & can't wait for it to arrive!!!

I am new to android and this forum (been watching it for a few weeks now and decided to join - because you guys helped with the advice.). Picked up the Nexus 7 a few months ago and loved it. Spent two hours trying to get this Nexus 4 and finally got through using the tab and then enter over the proceed.

DOnt quite understand this tab over concept. DO you mean open in a new tab? When I do that and hold enter, the new tab doesnt refresh repeatedly like said
Press your tab button, until it has a orange box highlighting the "proceed" button. if you press your tab button on the keyboard several times you can see what box it highlights.
It means you use the tab button on your keyboard to move from link to link on a page, and eventually it will move to the "Proceed" button. All you do after that is press enter (and keep pressing it).
Yayyyyy!!!!Got it...its not as insane anymore. A few clicks on proceed button does it. You still get the errors...but its much better than 2 hours ago. Soooo excited now!!!!
I've still got a phone in my cart from 12:53 PST and I can not proceed. When I open my cart in a new tab, the phone is still there. Mind numbing.
If I got the phone now I wouldn't get it until Valentine's Day at this rate. Im at the bottom of the barrel. Even if I get through, Im not sure if its worth it.
Got mine also using Playbook. I had 3 tablets, phone and chromebook hitting enter, and Blackberry got it. Thanks RIM. Some good out of you finally.
I originally had got into for the 8GB at around 4PM Eastern.. I decided to keep trying for a 16GB though and cancel my order. I hope it wasn't a bad idea because I finally got my 16GB order through
