Nexus 6P - Android 6.0.1 Rolling Out Starting Today

Re: will resetting increase getting 6.0.1 pushed?

For those of you that received the update, did any of you do a complete reset and during the set up you were prompted to download 6.0.1?
Wondering if that is a trick that may work.
Also with sim card in or out during reset?

Nope. There isn't a need to do this honestly. 6.0.1 doesn't offer that much so I wouldn't panic. It will show up.

Re: will resetting increase getting 6.0.1 pushed?

Even if it did work, what is in 6.0.1 that would be worth a full reset for?

Yeah there is nothing in it worth a factory rest to get... Before my phone worked pretty much flawlessly and now it works the same except I have band 12 support with T-Mobile.. Which wasn't a major deal breaker... between home and work I usually get pretty good T-Mobile coverage anyway... A few spots indoors on the weekends I would lose LTE service without band 12... but it wasn't a major deal...

Just wait.... Mine was on my device when I woke up this morning... Clicked to update while I hit the shower to get ready for work... was done by the time I left for work.

Just got my 6p 10 min ago. 6.0.1 notification within 10 min of trying my phone. Damn this thing is fast. Note 5 is off to the side for now

You guys are update happy lol. It's really only supposed to bring emojis and bug fixes. I have no bugs on mine at all to speak of

Hi All - I received the update a little while ago running on AT&T. Since I did the update I have noticed my phone wont connect to LTE and staying stuck on H. I hope this is something only with myself and not everyone AT&T. Let me know if anyone else out there is seeing this same problem.

Try the below steps :).

I had the same issue, but mine didn't fix itself after a 2nd reboot. I had to clear cache from boot, then manually go into Preferred Network Type and switch from LTE>3G>LTE (tried before clearing cache and didn't work). Finally got LTE again.

Also my notification sounds got screwy again, had to reset my custom ones.

I just received update and my mobile signal started out at H, then moved to E, and eventually back to LTE. It's remained on LTE with a strong signal. I'm on T-Mobile.

I think I got band 12. got the update this morning. I'm actually on vacation in Orlando.

Got it in Phoenix. On ATT. No issues with LTE. May have made my bluetooth-car situation worse. Other than that, all good.

I just had to reconnect to my BT devices and after that everything was back to normal.

I don't mean to hijack here ---- but quick comment --- All of my bluetooth devices were remembered through the update. You mean disconnect and reconnect?

Yep. Mine were remembered but the BT headset I use at work was acting wonky. Once I disconnected / reconnected it went back to normal.

Thanks.... I did try that with my car... no luck. :( But on the flip side, I can connect to my Echo with no issues.
