Chandni, the phone has to be checked by a technician. The battery could be defective. An app could be running in the background, using a lot of power. The version of Android you're running could be a battery hog. There are many possibilities. Since many people get great battery life from the phone, it's not the design of the phone that's causing it.

Although possible I wouldn't say it's likely that the battery is defective. Much more likely is that there are one or more apps causing poor battery life but without some data for us to review it's all guesswork.
