Nexus 6P Gaming Issues

So my new Nexus 6p runs buttery smooth most of the time but I notice stuttering and lag while gaming. Graphics intensive games like asphalt 8 and FIFA 16 lag pretty bad when there are a lot of things on screen and at highest graphics. I have seen videos posted on YouTube where both these games run perfectly fine with almost no lag or stutter at the highest settings.

I wanted to know if this expected or if it might be an issue with my device. I usually don't see my device overheating.

I've experienced occasional stutter in Clash Royale, but I'm not really sure if it's the game, or Nexus.

I'm noticing the same thing myself and started with the March update OTA. I don't recall noticing this before.
The phone is buttery smooth on normal usage but when i start a game, any game, it works fine for 2-3 minutes and then it starts dropping frames as light heat builds up.

I don't play many games but i noticed this on the two that i do play: Alto's adventure and Shooty skies.
