Nexus 6P hotspot keeps turning off after the latest security patch of Jan5, 2017

I have a Nexus 6P with Android 7.1.1 installed. I installed the security patch that was released on Jan 5, 2017. All of these are official ones. The phone has never been rooted. After installing the patch I am facing this new problem where whenever I create a mobile wifi hotspot, it keeps turning off after sometime.

I can't find any settings to change this auto sleep/timeout. And it turns off even when my laptop is connected and I am using internet. It's really annoying having to turn on hotspot every 20 minutes or so.
